WHAT IS OUR SCHOOL FUND?

At Nonsuch, we are extremely proud of the academic achievements of our students, but we also want their experience of school to extend far beyond examination outcomes. Providing opportunities for students to develop their confidence, independence, interests and sense of belonging is an important part of the education we provide. Our School Fund enables us to do things that would simply not be possible through our core funding alone. It allows us to invest in our students' environment, extend the range of enrichment opportunities available to them and support projects that make a real difference to their day-to-day experience of school. This year, our priorities include continuing to develop our Sixth Form environment as it grows, improving our student-facing reception and support spaces, and maintaining the breadth of enrichment and opportunities available to students across the school.

We recognise that any contribution to the School Fund is entirely voluntary and that circumstances are different for every family. We are enormously grateful for every donation, whether regular or one-off. Collectively, these contributions enable us to continue investing in opportunities and facilities that benefit our students now and in the future.

Over recent years, support from parents, carers and alumnae has enabled us to invest in a wide range of opportunities and improvements across the school. Looking ahead, our priorities for 2026/27 are set out below.

FUNDING FUTURE PROJECTS

This year we are seeking support across three key areas:

• Student Experience, Inclusion and Belonging
  We are committed to creating an environment where every student feels supported, valued and able to thrive. A key priority is the development of a new Student Reception and Student Services area, creating a welcoming, accessible and purposeful hub where students can seek help, access support and deal with the practical aspects of school life. More broadly, we are committed to creating an environment where every student feels supported, valued and able to thrive.
   
• Sixth Form Development
  As our Sixth Form continues to grow, we want to create an environment that reflects the quality and ambition of our academic provision. This includes developing spaces that support independent study, collaboration, enrichment activities and student wellbeing, whilst strengthening the identity of our Sixth Form community.
   
• Enrichment and Opportunity 
  We want every student to benefit from opportunities beyond the classroom. Donations help us provide visiting speakers, specialist coaches, competitions, enrichment activities and experiences that broaden horizons, build confidence and support personal development.

With the support of our parents, carers and alumnae, we can continue investing in opportunities that enhance the experience of every Nonsuch student.

WHAT YOUR SUPPORT DOES

Over recent years, School Fund donations have helped us to:

• Extend enrichment opportunities, competitions and extracurricular activities.
• Support participation in regional and national events.
• Enhance teaching, study and social environments across the school.
• Improve facilities that contribute to student wellbeing, safety and inclusion.
• Invest in resources and opportunities that go beyond those funded through the school's core budget.
