The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide award

We are delighted to announce that we have won The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide award for the best State Secondary School of the Year in the Southeast 2026.

We are delighted to announce that we have won The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide award for the best State Secondary School of the Year in the Southeast 2026. The guide, now in its 33rd year, is the most authoritative survey of the country's top schools. We have also been ranked 13th nationally in a field of 400 of the best state secondary and grammar schools in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

This accolade reflects our outstanding A-level results this summer, with 26% awarded at grade A*, 64% at an A* or A and 89% of all grades awarded at A* to B.  It's a testament to the dedication and expertise of our highly-experienced staff, who teach and support our outstanding students.

We are incredibly proud that the whole school community has been recognised with such a prestigious award.

Headteacher Mrs Williamson says:  “I am incredibly proud that Nonsuch has been named State Secondary School of the Year in the Southeast 2026. This award is recognition for the hard work of not only our students but our staff and families and is validation of our vibrant and supportive school community.”

CEO of the Girls' Learning Trust, Dr Tom Flynn, says: “I am absolutely delighted for everyone at Nonsuch that the school has been named State Secondary School of the Year in the Southeast and ranked 13th nationally in the Sunday Times Parent Power Guide. This is a wonderful recognition of the hard work and talent of our students and the care, expertise and support from staff, governors and families over many years. Everyone at the Girls’ Learning Trust is hugely proud to stand alongside you in celebrating this achievement.”
