New About Us

Welcome

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Nonsuch High School for Girls. Nonsuch has been at the forefront of girls’ education for almost 90 years. We are extremely proud of our history and of our students, both past and present. In 2026, we were awarded the accolade of The Sunday Times’ State School in the South East – further recognition that we are one of the top schools in the country.

Our students are at the heart of everything we do. Our staff, whether they are experienced teachers or specialist support professionals, are committed to bringing out the best in our students.  Nonsuch students are nurtured, championed and encouraged to excel in all areas of school life.  The recent Ofsted report, for instance, highlighted our exceptional pastoral care for our students. We support our students' wellbeing as they strive for academic achievement. We are an inclusive community, dedicated to ensuring that all students feel happy, safe, and a valued and appreciated member of the Nonsuch community.

In addition to our outstanding academic record, we offer a plethora of extracurricular activities for our students to explore their interests and develop their skills. We firmly believe in encouraging our students to be well-rounded, considerate and compassionate individuals. We are preparing them to be the leaders of the future.

"We promote our students as future leaders and innovators and are proud to be a Founding Member of the International Coalition of Girls' Schools."
