Jack Petchey Achievement Awards


Nonsuch participates in the Gold Level Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme, which is a reward and recognition scheme for schools to help celebrate the achievements of students2023 Jack Petchey Award Winner.

What happens?
One student is chosen to receive an Achievement Award each month for nine months of the year. A student can qualify for an award in a variety of ways for example overcoming adversity, contributing to the life of the school, personal achievement or for their contribution to the local community. Students, staff, parents and governors can nominate a student.

The Nonsuch Jack Petchey committee, comprising students from across the whole school, will decide the winner on a monthly basis.

What does the winner receive?
2023 Jack Petchey - DanceThe winner receives: a framed certificate, a pin badge, and £300 to be spent on a school project of their choice. The winner will be presented with a certificate in a special school assembly. A profile of the winner is displayed on the Jack Petchey notice board in the main reception area. They will also attend a borough presentation during the year.

How to nominate:
Nominations will be accepted throughout the year but must be placed in the box in reception by the end of the month to be considered for that month's awards.  Click here to download a nomination form.


 

JACK PETCHEY LEADER AWARDS

One Leader Award can also be awarded each year. Any adult who has made an outstanding contribution to the life and work of the school can be nominated. If successful, the Leader can apply for a small grant award (up to £500) for a project of their choice.  Click here to download a nomination form.

The Jack Petchey Foundation also contributes to school projects in other ways including: Step into Dance, Volunteering grants and the provision of table tennis facilities.
