Year 9 Options Process

We offer a very broad range of subjects at Key Stage 4.

Our current core offer for 2026-28 includes English Language and Literature, Mathematics, Triple Science, a modern foreign language and a level 2 HPQ (Higher Project Qualification). 

Alongside this, all students in Key Stage 4 undertake core Physical Education, recognising the importance of physical health, wellbeing, and lifelong active lifestyles.

Religious Education (RE) is a statutory entitlement for all students from Year 7 to Year 13.
From September 2026, students in Key Stage 4 will have the option to study Religious Studies at GCSE.  RE will be delivered through assemblies, tutorials, and the PSHE programme, with Year 10 students also completing wider reading of a non-fiction philosophical text to develop critical thinking.
