Higher Education Support & Guidance

The aim of our Higher Education programme is that each student secures a place on a course that is right for her at the place which is right for her. This involves a lot of thinking and research on the part of the student as well as many conversations with those who know her well. Some of the Higher Education preparation is delivered through sessions for the whole year group and some through one-to-one work with the individual student. We believe all of our students are capable of achieving the very best and we therefore tailor our support to ensure the highest levels of success. We also believe that parents are essential in this process and we run a number of bespoke evenings which support parents in their understanding of how they can best support their daughters.

Pupil premium students and those identified as needing extra support are invited to attend consultations with both our independent professional careers advisor and our higher education advisor. These sessions include further information, advice and guidance on careers and further & higher education.
