Proposed Changes to Admission Arrangements for entry in September 2023

In accordance with the School Admissions Code 2021, Nonsuch High School for Girls is currently consulting on the admission arrangements for entry in September 2023.

The consultation period lasts from Friday 19th November to Friday 31st December.

Responses must be received by Friday 31st December. In your response, please include your full name, title and contact details. Responses can be sent by:

In summary, the main proposed changes are:

Paragraph

5.2.1 & 5.2.3

Those who are registered for free school meals or become a ‘looked after child’ after the closing date for the SET registration but before the SET takes place will be considered as Pupil Premium as long as they have submitted sufficient evidence before the child sits the SET.

Paragraph

5.2.1

If a child of selective ability who has named Nonsuch on the CAF becomes a ‘looked after child’ after the entrance test has taken place but before the end of the summer term prior to starting High School, they may join the ranked waiting list for Looked After Children providing they have submitted sufficient evidence.

Paragraph

5.2.3

If a child of selective ability who has named Nonsuch on the CAF becomes eligible for Pupil Premium after the entrance test has taken place but before the end of the summer term prior to starting High School, they may join the ranked waiting list for children in receipt of Pupil Premium providing they have submitted sufficient evidence.

Appendix A

Appendix A has been removed as it is part of the Sixth Form Prospectus and the Sixth Form entry criteria is explained in section 10 of the policy.
