Consultation Outcome 2018

We recently consulted on our Admissions Policy for entry to the School in September 2018. The Policy has now been ratified by the Admissions Committee of the Nonsuch and Wallington Education Trust and is available online here.

In summary, we have:

made small changes to nomenclature (throughout)

specified what information will be shared and with whom (paragraphs 2.4 and 2.5)

clarified how ranked waiting lists will be created after the year 7 Entrance Tests (paragraphs 4.4 and 4.5)

proposed a new minimum average point score for entry to the Sixth Form as a result of changes to how GCSE examinations will be graded from August 2018(paragraph 10.1)

proposed new minimum grades for English (Language) and Mathematics as a result of changes to how GCSE examinations will be graded from August 2018 (paragraph 10.2)

proposed new minimum grades for study of subjects at A Level as a result of changes to how GCSE examinations will be graded from August 2018 (paragraph 10.3)

clarified minimum qualifications criteria for subjects to be studied at A Level which were not studied at GCSE as a result of changes to how GCSE examinations will be graded from August 2018 (appendix B)
